This is a display that brings a smile to any Grinch that comes to see the show. This year the show will not air but will be coming back in 2011 with a BANG.
2007 was the year that we introduced the us of a computer to control the lights and the need for MORE LIGHTS!

Dec 31, 2009..........................Today will be the last time the show will run, lights out at 12am.

Nov 26, 2009..........................The lights are up, controllers are set....THE SHOW IS UP AND
RUNNING !!!
Nov 13, 2009..........................This weekend I will finish all the mega trees (only have one done
so far), put up the leaping arches, fans, bushes, and if I can the
arches on the sidewalk. The due date is around the corner
(11/26/2009 at 9pm) and I got to get the ball rolling FASTER.
I am still working on the How To page but should be up soon.
Oct 9, 2009............................THE MADNESS HAS BEGUN
Today I will start to put up the lights on the roof (including the
star), the three trees out-front, the two windows and what ever I
can do this weekend. Today I was also informed that the
neighbor to the left of me will not be doing the show this year
and neither will the neighbor to the front of me but they are both
looking forward for next year.
Oct 3, 2009............................Today I started to bring down the mini lights from that attic, not
all the lights as it will be impossible to get around in the garage,
let a long get a car in there.
Sept 27, 2009........................ Today I am done with the star; the star is about 4.8ft tall and has
196 C9 bulbs and weights about 24lbs. Since I dont have a
projector I needed to draw it out on a piece of plywood good
thing I learned Geometry. Later I will make a How To page to
show how I made the star.
Aug 29, 2009......................... Today I got the PVC piping I needed in order to start wrapping the
mini lights on (I have 12 to do at 8ft each). The pipes are
wrapped in 8 sections somewhat the same as leaping light aches
with the only difference being poles are not bent but stand a foot
apart in a row from each other.
Aug 08, 2009.........................I started to bring some lights down from the attic today in order to
get a head start as this year there is 3 houses I have to help put
lights up.
July 29, 2009.........................I received the LOR controllers and easy light linker, the neighbor
ordered the same items but still waiting for it to get here.
July 12, 2009.........................Placed order for 3 more LOR controllers that I needed for new
items that I am building and got an easy light linker in order to
control the neighbors display.
Mar 16, 2009.........................Spoke with my neighbors today to see if they are willing to
upgrade their display this year in order to have multiple houses
synchronized to the same songs and for this year two said YES
and for next maybe MORE!!!
Feb 16, 2009.........................Plans for 2009 are on the way. I am removing the 30 mini trees
that I had to the back left of the show because you can't see what
was going on.
Jan 05, 2009..........................Last day for the show of 2008 now to start with programing
2009's show.
Dec 26, 2008..........................Went to Walmart today and got 250 boxs of 100 count mini lights
in white, red, and blue at 75% off AWESOME
Dec 01, 2008.........................There were a lot of cars parked and people on foot today then
what I was hoping for.
All this just by word of mouth, WOW!
Nov 27, 2008.........................The show is up and running !!! there was over 200 people today
watching the show SO COOL!
